Join the XOUNTS Design Contest and create a magic outer shell of a Sound & Ambience System

XOUNTS

XOUNTS is a young company , based in the entertainment electronic, that produces and distributes a new Sound & Ambience System called XOUNTS UP that combines wrap-around 360-degree stereo sound with atmospheric lighting and custom-made design to create an immersive experience for the next generation of music lovers.

We want to invite you to a special design contest for our XOUNTS UP sound system.

Your Task: Develop a concept and design/artwork for the outer shell of this sound system, shaped like an obelisk.

First think of a particular location (for example a beautiful living area, an indoor or outdoor situation as a summer party on the terrasse or a party, a stylish office, get together on the beach....) where you could imagine XOUNTS UP and for that special place we would like you to create 1 Style Cover that correspond with your location.

Inspire yourself and spend some time on our Kickstarter campaign where you find all information (size, technical details, Style Covers, light) and impressions you need.

There is no limit on colours. The XOUNTS logo should not be the focus of the design. We prefer a very creative artwork, illustration, painting - particular, precious and generous.

Please be aware that inside XOUNTS UP there is a warm-light LED bulb or a multicolor module that illuminates the whole Style Cover, maybe it will have consequences on your work.
As we have already said our big XOUNTS Community will vote for the best Style Cover, we will preselect 15-20 Style Cover Designs.

Hi Designers!

Keep in mind that this is for a custom illustration - make sure that these designs are custom illustrations.

We have attached a photoshop template that you can work with. Please design the 4 sides and save them separately in 1-4 jpg files.

Use the template included 1 to 1 (no compression). The template can also be used to make patterns that run across several sides. When you have designed the Style Cover, please equip the black or white XOUNTS UP photo with your design proposal.

If you decide to join the XOUNTS contest, you agree that we publish your designs to our Jury. The Jury will be all the supporters on our Kickstarter campaign (http://www.xounts.com/kickstarter10) and Facebook friends. They will all vote the best Style Cover (outer shell).

We in no way intend to violate existing copyright and design rights. We use your designs exclusively to let the Jury vote. They will not be used in any other form.
