Beschreibung
We are looking for concepts for the layout of a 3-D shopping experience. Imagine an Apple Store type of setting, modern style where over the web, consumers would be navigating through the environment to explore products from different companies, each representing a different category. We imagine somewhere around six different sections of the store, where each company would be showcasing their product.
Dedicated Spaces: Each brand within the virtual store is allocated a branded zone or "shop-in-shop" area. These zones allow each brand to create an immersive environment that reflects its distinct identity, colors, and style.
Interactive Displays: Brands can utilize 3D product displays, interactive kiosks, and video walls within the environment. Video displays are essential. For example, on the wall, on a floating display above product, kiosk, etc..
6 types of companies to include in the store, with ideas for you to consider in your design:
Apparel: Clothing, footwear, and accessories displayed on virtual mannequins and interactive racks, with augmented try-on features for a personalized shopping experience.
Consumer Electronics: Tech products such as smartphones, smart home devices, and gaming gear with interactive demos, 3D displays, and virtual assistants to guide users.
Food & Beverage: Gourmet foods, snacks, and beverages showcased with interactive packaging, video recipes, and virtual taste experiences for an immersive exploration.
Home & Living: Furniture, decor, and smart home devices featured in interactive, virtual room setups, where users can experiment with arranging products in a simulated home environment.
Beauty & Personal Care: Skincare, cosmetics, and haircare products, with 3D displays, virtual try-on features for makeup, and video tutorials on self-care routines.
Luxury Goods: High-end fashion, jewelry, and accessories featured in sophisticated, visually rich displays with 360-degree views and personal shopping assistants for a high-touch experience.
To help with perspective, it would help to include a few Avatars within the space (people: a few shoppers and Customer Service person).

Weitere Anmerkungen
As mentioned, the interior of an Apple Store is a good reference but by no means should this look like an Apple Store. I just use that as a reference in terms of the modern, very clean and elegant feel.
For an online shopping experience, it would be important that the navigation through the space is easy for the consumer. What this means for an online experience is that the pathways between sections, any product displays, etc are wide enough to move through, no narrow spaces.
