Our company sells wine over the telephone for high-end and high-profile wine brands. Wineries hire us to call *their* customers and sell their wine to them, and we've been doing this since 2008.
The calls go like this: "Hi, this is Jeff with Beringer Winery in Napa Valley. Thanks for coming out to visit us last weekend. You left your contact information with us and I'm calling you to find out what wines you enjoyed the most when you were here visiting us? Can I sell you a case of that wine and ship it directly to your home?"
The audience for this new website is our client wineries who hire our company to sell wine for them. The other and equally important audience is prospective employees who we want to attract to come work for us. We need to show each of those audiences we are a fun, energetic and professional company to work for. We've won major awards such as the INC500 (3 times), INC Magazine best places to work in the USA, NBBJ Best Places to work (3 times), and many, many other awards.
While I've provided many photos, videos, PDF's and PSD examples, if you have stock photos that you like, by all means use them! I don't want to exclude any ideas from the design. In terms of color pallets, take a look at the example website I've provided. It's clean, it's bright, it's easy to navigate, and the colors really work well.
I've conducted MANY design contests with 99designs, and I give feedback and consideration to ALL entries - just look at some of my other contests. I have many, many very high-profile winery clients who will be looking at our website and asking for recommendations on who to hire for their own winery websites, so this is the first of potentially many future engagements.
