Recently, we successfully had the logo done on 99designs.com. We've designed the rest of the site and can show a few pages for reference.
We need to make the following design match the design of the rest of the site:
That design was an attempt at the hompage, but it is bad. You will notice that we tried to change the colors into blue scheme for the homepage of a site that is primarily yellow. I'm thinking we should do something a little like twitter.com and mint.com in yellow.
The following is all the designs we are using for the site and they will not change:
What you come up with should match this stuff.
Otherwise, here is the last contest we did where we got the logo for this site:
Lastly, here's the .psd for the logo (which will be on all pages of the site):
and here's the .psd for one standard page of the site, which you should mainly use to get the top-nav bar:
Just check the links in the summary. Otherwise, just know that I'm an experienced 99designs contest creator. I also run my own Web 2.0 web development firm: http://FaceySpacey.com. I've received tons of comments from past designers for contests that I was extremely well-prepared, extremely active and ran one of the best contests they've ever done on 99designs.
All this means is expect me to help you with proper and timely feedback. Quality designers that are able to capture the vision of this site based on the provided designs will have a very good chance of winning this contest.
- something simple that conveys a "123" sort of feel so visitors will understand 100% what the site is about.
- something like twitter.com and mint.com
- yellow design with light blue
- Mint.com is actually a very good example of what we're going for. If we could make something like that but that matches our designs, we'd be in heaven!!!!!!!!
- non-web 2.0 designs
