Club Quarters
Club Quarters offers member-focused, full service hotels in prime, downtown U.S. locations. They offer unique and complimentary services for the business traveler in a club-like, inviting atmosphere.
The target of this new site design is a group of around 525 online travel managers that serve Club Quarters' member base.
The reason the new site is needed is to offer much of the information that is on the current Club Quarters site (http://www.clubquarters.com) to the travel managers in an easier-to-use online tool format. We want to give them a site where they can do more “self-service” versus contacting Club Quarters member managers directly for marketing materials.
We would like something stylistically between the current site:
http://www.clubquarters.com
and our World Trade Center splash page:
http://www.clubquarters.com/wtcinfo
(do NOT use elements from the WTC splash page in your designs)
Things we like about the current site: the “club-like”/comfortable feel, logo positioning, easy-to-use and navigate
The new online resource must:
o be designed for 1024x768
o contain the CQ logo at the bottom (use the logo that has "CQ"
image in gold and "Club Quarters" copy in blue, see attached)
o use primary CQ blue/gold color palette (see existing CQ site)
o be simple, clean, easy-to-navigate
o contain a link to sitemap in the top right, as well as buttons for
electronic brochures, photo gallery
o contain a link somewhere on the page to go to a PowerPoint
presentation that will reside on the site
o be primarily a utilitarian/functional site - no banners or flashy
images
The site should NOT be: hard to read, cluttered, inconsistent with fonts/style treatments, don’t cover up images with text (at least important parts of images), don’t waste “white space”, flashy
Be sure to use the correct navigation and check your spelling/grammar.
Thank you.
