Wie RehabMediaWorks das erste webdesign Abenteuer antrat
PTBuddy by Rehab Media Works
Rehab Media Works (RMW) provides interactive media solutions that help improve physical therapy patient’s recovery time. RMW is a medical media company. RMW aims to make the world a better place by enabling people to get the most out of the physical rehabilitation so they can get back to their normal lives.
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Medical Professionals in the Physical Therapy space and patients currently undergoing physical therapy treatment. Secondarily, people interested in physical fitness. People interested in getting started and improving their fitness routine beyond just the basics.
This design is for our direct-to-patient web application. The target user consists of individuals who are currently undergoing physical rehabilitation. The age demographic ranges from mid twenties to upper 60’s. The site should be clean crisp and professional. Use and flow should be intuitive for all users in our target demographic. Using the web application should "just make sense". A winning design will combine the look and feel of a slick media company while conveying professionalism, reputable and respectful that one expects from a media service provider (this does not mean we are a medical service provider).
A good example of this (in the financial space) is mint.com. They have successfully created a web application that is slick, clean and fun while the same time exudes professionalism enough that people trust them enough to give them access to their personal financial records.
**Please see attached word doc for full requirements**
This is a web application, not a web site. Application consists of a home page, Exercise Deck (for viewing exercises), and Exercise Catalog (for finding and selecting catalog). Supplemental user interface dialogs will use a lightbox/modal dialog. The following are wireframes to give some rough guidance on the elements that are required from a functional point of view only. The wireframes do not include any of the overall site design components (such as headers, foots, or layout). The placements of any of the functional items found in the wireframe are completely changeable by you. We are not UX designers and would love to see your professional creativity in action.
We ask that you keep in mind the following design tenants:
1. Simplicity. The simpler a user interface, the easier it is to use. But keeping user interfaces for business applications simple is a challenge because the apps often have a lot of functionality.
2. “Attractive things work better”
• The site must have the centered fixed width – ideal for 1024x768 viewing. Scales well to different resolution sizes
• Simple, creative web 2.0 or latest design with visual impact
• Rounded corners
• Large text captions
• Very polished
Deliverables must be in vector image format (Adobe Illustrator) and in layered .psd (RGB, Adobe Photoshop).
