The homepage should clearly show the commemorative coin designs that we are selling and include information about the fundraiser. Prosthetics are very expensive, and purchase of these commemorative coins helps offset those costs.
The coins are currently being designed and designs may change. Each coin has an image or graphic on each side and may include laser engraving, 3-D textures, enameled coloring, and text on the circumference. Purchasers will need to be able to see images of both sides as well as a description and an "Add to Cart" button. When the coins are finalized, we'll be replacing these design images with photos.
At launch, we expect to have 2-3 coins available for sale. In the future we hope to add several more, so your design submissions should scale as our selection grows.
This will essentially be a single-page website for now, so we want everything but the checkout process to be visible on the homepage. In other words, this single page you're designing needs to function as both the "catalog" and the "cart":
CATALOG: The page needs to show all three of the coin designs with "Add to Cart" buttons for each of them.
CART: Once a coin has been added to the cart, the add button could change to an input field with an "update quantity" button. It also needs to show the cart total somewhere -- perhaps multiple places -- along with a "Checkout" button.
In the future, we may add "about us" or other specific pages, so we'd like the design to include an optional navigation menu (i.e. a page that looks good both ways: with the menu hidden or shown). Inner pages would use the same header / navigation menu as the homepage, so please bear that in mind as well.
Responsive (both desktop- and mobile-friendly) design is assumed. Designs that are not flexible in this way will not be considered.
