A golf tourism website for New Zealand.
Website covers everything golf in New Zealand: Golf clubs/courses, golf accommodation, golfing events, etc.
Home, Destinations, Clubs and Courses, Accommodation, News, Events, Forum
(please also design a dropdown)
We love big footers, so there should be a big footer with mutiple columns that include links to sections of the site, a map of NZ (so we can link to regions), and some social icons, latest news, events, etc.
As the site may sell ad space, there should be ads designed into the layout that can be gracefully removed.
PAGE 1: HOME PAGE
Beautiful, vivid photography, links to sections within the site. Includes a map of NZ that links to regions (for example, see map on http://www.golfguide.co.nz/clublist.htm, map should contain same regions and list the region names next to it so when you hover over a region name it highlights it on the map) and latest news, upcoming events.
PAGE 2: INDIVIDUAL COURSE PAGE
Create a page for Jacks Point (see photos attached). Course page should have a hero image at the top, with more thumbnails that can change the hero image. A course page should have the following information on it under the following headings:
- THE COURSE
Description (paragraphs, maybe multiple columns?)
- THE CLUB
- STAY AND PLAY
Description (paragraphs, maybe multiple columns?) and photos (stay and play is for a golf club that also has accommodation/restaurant available).
It would be nice if an optional area in a prime spot was available for the club to promote specials that might be on for a particular month, for example.
- REVIEWS AND RATINGS
Golf clubs should be reviewable and rateable, so the user will leave a review and rate the course's difficulty, landscape and course quality.
PAGE 3: REGION PAGE
A region page shows all of the golf clubs/courses in a region. The site has two types of club listings on it, standard and featured. Featured courses should look large, stand out, and include photography. Standard club listings will just show heading, address, number of holes.
Our requirements are PSDs of the above pages.
