Hi! I'm Lori. I'm a marketing communications planner who quit a big life in Chicago ad agencies to move to my family farm in the middle of America. I'm a big thinker with high energy, but I'm practical, honest and full of common sense. Now I'm branding myself as a "independent communications planner" (not an agency), and I need your help to make me look legitimate (i.e. have a website).

People call me when...
*Their brand feels like a commodity and they need help moving beyond competing on price and features
*When they have executives and project managers, but no one connecting the dots in between
*When marketing departments and agencies are frustrated with each other because direction for the assignment isn't clear
*When businesses and agencies want to pursue new initiatives or clients, but don't have enough manpower
*When they just need someone to bounce ideas off of

To meet these needs, I offer the following services:
*Serve as a sounding board (as few as three hours)
*Facilitate planning summits that are 1-2 days in length
*8-12 week engagement to make a game plan (positioning, message mapping, tactical plan)
*Qualitative research
*Competitive analysis
*Matchmaking with freelancers and agencies
*Presentation development (speech writing)
*Fill-in marketing director or agency account director for short-term projects.

I have three target audiences:

1. Owners and leaders of small to mid-size business and organizations ($10M-$70 million in revenue) in the Midwest. They're managing all fronts of the business, often including a marketing coordinator who is a good do'er but not a big thinker. It's all about the bottom line and working efficiently to get ahead with the greatest return on effort.

2. Corporate marketers in $70 million+ B2B organizations headquartered in the Midwest (between Denver-Chicago and Dallas-Minneapolis). With the multitide of new communications channels and shift of power to the customer, they're trying to sort out the best way to engage customers. For them it's about increasing impact of communications and measuring engagement. They're also "specialist-heavy", which means the tail is wagging the dog. They're short on time to make it all come together.

3. Communications agencies with 50+ employees in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Dallas. As the economy turns around, the workload is picking up both with existing clients and with new ones. Plus, their employees are being courted to other jobs with higher pay. They're trying to manage more work with fewer and new people, and they're having a difficult time maintaining quality.

Anforderungen

I am looking for a landing page design only, but I need to be able to take the design and make it into a content page template. The site will be run on WORDPRESS, THESIS theme.

Don't let the platform fool you -- I want a beautiful site that DOES NOT look like a blog.

DELIVERABLES:
*One clean, organized, layered PSD file
*One PDF of the finished design

DESIGN DIRECTION:
1. Use the colors from my logo as the basis for your palette.
2. Keep it simple and elegant. Eye appeal is very important.
3. A complete brief with wireframes is attached. The wireframe is for content purposes only -- the elements can be arranged however you choose. This document also includes screen shots and URLs for sites I like from an aesthetic standpoint.
4. The attached wireframes/brief outlines two different concept directions that I'd like you to pursue. Both of them have copy and a few images for inspiration. Again, take as many liberties as you'd like, and if you have another concept that you think is stronger, then please suggest it. Here are the two directions:
A. Focus on what matters
B. Marketing country
5. I like the star as an icon. Use it as such, but be careful not to overuse it. (I don't want shooting stars everywhere.)

I'm attaching logo files, plus a brochure that I quickly did myself, so use it for informational purposes but not as design direction.
