In my head I want crayon style/rainbow colourful for a bright light feeling, non dismal. I would love SensiKids in bright or primary colours
I would love images of teddybears. One scuffing his foot in the dirt, another with a backpack or suitcase looking shy and lost but not terrified. Another holding a flower with the innocent look of a child. similar to this http://www.photoshopcreative.co.uk/…/teddybear
If someone lands on the homepage I want them to see it's both foster care and special needs not just one or the other.
My site needs to make parents who may be tired and frustrated want to stay and read, not dismal looking but not too 'giddy' like a new baby or child care site. It's for adults not for kids. I want them to feel welcome, like they can breathe, perhaps force a smile and if I could I'd hand them cup of coffee and tell them to 'breathe' a little."
Note: if the teddybear idea doesn't convert well to design, you might have other ideas we are happy to see.
