GeniusPin is a tool that helps Pinterest users gain more followers and repins by scheduling and automating pinning. You create an account, log in, and then are presented with a dashboard with various tools. Target audience is savvy Pinterest users and professional social media marketers, 70% female/30% male. Age 18-49. 2/3 of users are college educated, and have an income above $50k/yr.
Please note this project is NOT the home/landing page. It is of the dashboard logged in users see.
In welcher Branche, denken Sie, ist Ihr Unternehmen am ehesten zu Hause?
Welche Vorstellungen haben Sie bezüglich Stil und Thema vom web page?
The design should feel modern and flat. The audience skews female, so sticking to lighter colors might be best (no specific color preference - Pinterest's primary color is red, but that does not necessarily need to be a color in this website). The text should be very legible. In general the focus should be on simplicity. Logo/brand is already done and is attached. The color of the logo is up to you, you can change it to whatever matches the color palette you go with.
Beschreibung der Seitentypen
A single-page dashboard, with 3 distinct sections (more details in the attached files):
1. The first section is a checklist and 'cards' that represent the Pinterest boards you have set up scheduling for. PLEASE NOTE: The checklist steps 1 and 2 are mandatory for a user to complete (connect their Pinterest account and set a time zone). Once a user has done that, they are free to use the app, and that checklist goes away (or gets minimized to a corner). There's really no "Step 3" - Step 3 is basically just using the dashboard.
2. The second section is an inline form, which are the settings to schedule a new Pinterest board. You can think of this like on ifttt.com when you are configuring a new Applet.
3. The third section is a table of 'pending pins' which the user has to either deny or approve.
And of course the site has a nav bar with logo (logo is provided in the attachments), and a footer.
Was vermieden werden soll
No "dark" design language (dark or black backgrounds). Little to no photography. Keep it looking like a friendly, easy to use, functional tool/utility.
This design is for a desktop website, but please think mobile-centric. All the elements should be simple enough and modular, where they could stack or resize if the viewport shrinks.
