Jessica Stone, Music Artist
Independent music artist website. This is my third album release. The first two were indie singer-songwriter records, but this third one is a children's album.
The style design cues should be taken from the "Songs for Wyatt" album artwork. I have attached two examples. For some reason, it won't let me upload the file that shows the actual cover art as a PDF (perhaps the file is too large?), but I was able to upload a JPEG, and as you can see the poster image is very similar.
I am about to release a new album, called "Songs For Wyatt". My website is designed around my last release, "Melting". Because my latest album is a children's album (and not reflective of my overall style), I don't want to completely redesign the site around it. However, I do want to promote the new release on the homepage of my website, have a new page designed and dedicated to the new release, and have the integration make sense from a navigation and design perspective. Should it be a new page on the site that is linked to from the global navigation, for example? If so, how will it fit within the current design schema?
The new page should reflect the design elements from the physical CD cover, be able to play samples (probably full tracks) of the songs on the record, and link to CDBaby and iTunes for purchase. It should also accommodate a description of the project, as my other releases have. Lastly, a link to the liner notes would be a nice-to-have.
Thank you,
Jessica
