# For more info please see attached file "style&design_samples"!!!! # Skin tight men’s shirts, chic fashionable ladies shirts, streetwear, beach style, surfer shirts, denim style. # Shirts both for our employees (for corporate identity and marketing reasons) as well as for our guests/fans. # Shirts specially dyed to achieve an used look (washed out or faded text). # I want to develop streetwear and limited edition fashion ranges designed to appeal to the more discerning clubber. The shirts should reflect the modern but Ibizan and Mediterranean casual style blending traditional with futuristic design. Our guests and fans should buy these shirts to represent our club and to remember their last party, their last visit to our club and the city of Vienna. The price of the garments should be fair. # I want to establish a merchandise shop selling shirts that represents our club and our world class clubbing scene in Vienna, much like Pacha, Space, Amnesia and Privilege in Ibiza. # Payment is guaranteed, as well as further orders (design projects)!!!
@ logo: The main logo is the 2nd one in the top row for white shirts or bright coloured shirts, or the 2nd logo in the bottom row for black shirts or dark coloured shirts (>>> see logo file). You can modify/change/distort it, wash out or use other graphic effects - I leave it to your creativity! (-; Here some club data and keywords that can be used for the t-shirt text: Volksgarten, VOGA (= our nickname), Disco, Club, established 1823, since 1823, rebuilt 1953, Peter Böhm & Sons, Vienna, Austria, www.volksgarten.at, creative slogans if necessary (e.g. “work hard, party harder”, “thank god it’s weekend”, “be loved” (= one of our clubbing series), etc).
Was vermieden werden soll
NO - Nothing! But for a better understanding about who we are, here some background and history info: The Volksgarten Club (“Volksgarten” literally means “People’s Garden”) as an event and party location can look back on 190 years of history. Despite the fast-paced club culture, we were able to persist for decades as a hotspot of Viennese dance and party culture…and we are the Austrian market leader in this segment. A phenomenon of this kind probably doesn’t exist in any other city: for generations the same night-spot has remained a top place to go in the evenings. Since 1953 the Volksgarten has socialized young people and the young at heart: and since 1974 and the start of the disco era, it has functioned as a discotheque. But this history of this place as a top venue for leisure time activities dates back to the early 19th century. In 1823, the Corti'sches Cafehaus was opened here, in the newly laid-out Volksgarten. Pietro Nobile designed this architectural gem in the special form of a semi-circular colonnade enclosing an outdoor space with a music pavilion. Austrian composer Johann Strauss the Elder was among those who performed public concerts in the pavilion. lt is also a phenomenon that precisely here - in immediate proximity to state power and representation, to the Hofburg and Heldenplatz - one of the most popular meeting places for night-life and leisure time grew up. In 1947, when the Austrian Federal President moved into his rooms in the nearby Leopoldine Wing of the Vienna Hofburg, a new success chapter in the story of these premises also began. Peter Böhm acquired the war-damaged Corti'sche Cafehaus and commissioned Oswald Haerdtl, one of the best architects available in Vienna at the time, to redesign it. Amidst the destruction of post-war Vienna, a bar was created here with a lightness and transparence and with a level of advanced technical sophistication that remains astonishing even today. Haerdtl augmented the neo-classical colonnade of the Corti-colonnade with two square connected pavilions. Glass roofs that could be opened and glass walls that could be lowered into the floor allowed the gardens and the interior to flow together. The ensemble also included the "Milchpavillon", still much loved today. In a masterly way Haerdtl showed that, even in a historic setting, it is possible to build in a way that develops architecture further; his pavilions were eventually themselves declared protected buildings. "The Volksgarten" has been in the hands of the same family since 1947. The Böhm family - today the sons run both businesses, pavilion and discotheque – invests regularly in high-quality refurbishment.
