Welche Vorstellungen haben Sie bezüglich Stil und Thema vom t-shirt?
I want the design to look (proportionally) exactly as it appears in the file "half face new words from head", with Africa split in half perfectly by fabric (sewn on after shirt printing) and the half facial profile to emerge from the fabric on the left, with type "Together We Can Bring Change" filling that space as if the words are coming from the student's head. The fabric does not need to be included in the design, it can just be left blank. Just pay special attention to where the fabric starts and ends (africa template is literally 'cut' in half with other half ending up on back of shirt)..so that sketch of face starts in the right spot. The half profile of students face should not be a copy of the photo (in included jpeg file) but rather a computer rendering or "sketch"..the quality of this artwork will be the main deciding factor for who wins the contest with the winning design. The student is a girl, aged about 13 and is a student in Tanzania. While the sketch or rendering doesn't need to look exactly like her, it should be a really artistic accurate rendering and representation of a female Tanzanian students face, because that is the cause attached to these shirts. The type does NOT need to be Baskerville Old (as it appears) but it should be easy to read and not cursive. It should be simple and basic while also creative (not boring). The type should be placed as it appears in the file, as if it is a thought coming from her head..kind of framing her but not aligning the letters or words perfectly (I don't want the letters to go down one after another or it will look like an acronym).
The idea for this shirt is that the fabric is going to be sewn on after the shirts are printed. That portion of fabric (seen in the attached files) does not need to be included in the design, it should be left blank but the sketch needs to lign up perfectly (note the continent is cut exactly in half with the face ending and fabric design starting right at the upward horn of Libya to the north and splitting South Africa in half to the south).
The .psd should include an outline of African continent, with no background fill for the continent (leave it blank). The outline for Africa should be thick enough to see clearly, but not too bold (this will be left up to discretion of designer). The type in top left ("Together We Can Bring Change") should be a simple font that is easy to read. The half-face profile should be sketched and rendered on the computer and placed as if it is the 'other half' connected to the fabric which is covering East Africa.
Guys, this design should be creative and inspiring! It is going to represent a non-profit organization working in Tanzania to empower youth through creative education. The students in our workshops came up with "Together We Can Bring Change"..so this is an extension of their creation! Good luck with the design!
Was vermieden werden soll
DO NOT pay attention to the back of the shirt in the file "together we can bring change with alt backs copy"..this design contest is not for the back. it is only for "Front 1" with the face and text inside of the African continent. However I may contact the winner of the contest to also work on the back of the shirt.
