We need to refresh one of our existing wine brands with a new look label.
The brand name is Rockridge but could also be called Rockridge Estate.
It is high volume retail brand, distributed throughout Australia via bottle shops only.
The price point is $10-$15 per bottle which means it is generally stocked on the lower shelves in the bottle shop. We need a new label that is going to make it easily visible/readable and attractive to consumers.
Using the current Rockridge label as a starting point (see attached bottle images and label proofs), the label needs to be re-developed to reflect a higher end product, giving a more expensive look to the brand.
Black, white and silver colour scheme can remain for brand continuity, could look at adding extra colour to make it more eye-catching.
Font can stay the same, or could look at other options to make it bold and easier to read from a distance.
Look at having front and back labels instead of wrap.
Label style should be modern and emphasise the regional aspect of the wine (Clare Valley, Watervale where applicable).
Please note the labels need to cover the following varietals:
• Cuvee Brut
• Sauvignon Blanc
The name Rockridge originally came from the name of the vineyard, you could look at incorporating this into the design.
A key selling point is that these wines are from estate grown vineyards in Watervale, Clare Valley and are created by our own winemaker. Competing products at this price point may be large volume, mass produced wines with no geographical region.
