Its not required, but you'll notice that almost all Scottish images have the blue and white X-cross of the Scottish flag. Without adding the flag necessarily (although it could be good), that blue is probably a good pick.

This is a 9% Scotch Ale made by a super high end craft beer company based out of Chicago. Our beers are named after positive role models, in particular Saints, but have names that only remind the buyer of the saint. Unlike a lot of crazy craft beer companies, the artwork needs to be modern, clean and respectful.
Beschreibung der Produktzielgruppe
Craft beer fans and high end wine drinkers alike. Our beers are only in 750ml bottles and retail for $12-28/bottle, so we're at the highest end of the market (but not expensive relative to a lot of wine).
We're naming this Scotch Ale after the 48 Kings buried at the Abbey at Iona. This is in honor of St Columba, who left Ireland for Scotland, created an Abbey there and ended up becoming one of the most beloved leaders in Scottish history. There's a lot on wiki, Catholic.org and other places on the internet, so I suggest you take a look. Ultimately, I'm imagining a Scottish blue color scheme that incorporates the iconic image of the Iona Abbey with the name 48 Kings. There are images online of Scottish Kings, including Robert the Bruce, Macbeth, etc that can be used as a staring point. I'll load some good ones here, as well.
It's likely a 4x9 label. The descriptions will come later and be on the left and right 1/3s of the label. What I need from designers to start is the main central 1/3 artwork.
This is the EPS of the main company logo, as one of the designers asked me to load.
