This red wine is coming from Burgundy, France, one of the most classic and reputed and high end wine regions of the world. This new label will be used for our very entry level wine which we want to separate from our normal range, it will be the "young, little one" of the family, a family of important wines (about 50 different appellations under two different labels) some of them sold for many hundreds/thousands euros per bottle. The label should still show a link to the existing brand family (logo, font maybe...)
The wine is a fresh, fruity Pinot Noir. "Joie de vigne" means "joy of the vineyard"
Beschreibung der Produktzielgruppe
The wine will be drunk mainly by younger wine lovers approaching this very classic region for the first time. Men and women equally. The wine will be sold mainly in big retail stores in Canada, but also winebars and restaurants in California.
The idea is to remain in the same family of the existing label (color of the background and logo and probably police), but have a more simplified, young, (maybe) minimalist, fresh, elegant label
Was vermieden werden soll
We advise to have a look at other Burgundy labels before starting, to understand the style a bit and then refresh it.
We can't use hyper creative, flashy american labels for this wine.
On the front label the following lines are mandatory:
"Bourgogne" (legal appellation)
"Joie de vigne" (name of this specific wine)
"Grand vin de Bourgogne"
"2016" (the vintage)
"Nuits-Saint-Georges" and other references to geographical places are forbidden. The volume of the bottle 750cl and other legal mentions will go on the back label.
