I need a cover design plus two smart-looking InDesign page templates for an 8.5" x 11" ebook (pdf file). I need an .indd file as the finished product.
The ebook provides small business owners advice on how to manage their website, organized in a "Q&A" (question and answer) format.
Two page types appear inside. One is a Q&A page look (the guts of the ebook), the other is a checklist-style page.
This is for a designer who loves to find fresh ways to organize copy so that the reader easily spots the most important copy on the page. Each Q&A page will have the same three sections: 1. "The Big Picture" (a to-the-point answer to that question); 2. "The Details" (a more fleshed out answer with backstory, history, etc. and 3. summary points, an offset section with the same numbered points that repeat in the same location on every Q&A page, a lot smaller on the page (perhaps screened back slightly).
The name of the product is Test Bite, referring to when a shark takes a bite out of something to determine if it's food (typically surfboards). I have a product logo already designed, but it's not set in stone.
The beauty of the design should be a clever way to make the most important copy block on each Q&A page -- the "Big Picture" section -- stand out.
