Published writer. Background in sociology, deep interest in psychology, music, movies. I tried to understand Michael Jackson, using the psychology as a tool. I did a very big work to make it fun an easy to read.
This product is for people daring to understand who Michael Jackson really was. It is more of a portrait /essay. I talk much about childhood, The idea of multiple personnalities too. The most surprising chapter is on Michael Jackson fatherhood. Reading this book, you will, someway, know how it felt to be the King of Pop.
The concept is in the attached JPG file.
Idea : Jackson is driven by the secret forces of his mind.
The actual cover must be seen as the concept : don't use it as it is.
Lighting is key : light at the top, Michael, light at the bottom.
I want you to take this concept and put art in it.
Please use only art, use no real pictures.
I am paranoid about copyright issues.
You will be asked to proove that your work is original.
Use any technique that you want, as long as it is beautiful and within the brief. Surpise me, take some risks.
I want a "pro" look and feel at first sight.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO ADD :
The hand at the top : put Michael's sparkling glove on it.
The light at the top : could be the moon, may be just suggest it.
The strings : silver or golden ?
You can change the posture of Michael, as long as we see at first sight that it is him, and that he has a puppet gesture.
One A4 format (work on this one)
one "U.S. trade format", that is 6''x9'' (or 15.24 cm x 22.86 cm)
One Banner 320x250 (google ads medium rectangle)
I need a high definition quality, this material will be printed.
Please, dont put any text at first, I want to concentrate on the art work first. Text will be put mid term.
Remember : the cover that you see is just to be taken as the concept.
Be creative, good luck.
Nota : The original concept of this cover was designed by Amir Mor, wich won a previous contest.
