We're a start-up non-profit urban farm and worm-composting operation in Toronto.

We need a logo that conveys our philosophy of closed-loop systems and waste reuse, as well as the worm composting element of our operation. Our farm will have a strong social justice/ community development/ empowerment piece to it, so if the logo could include both environmental and social themes that would be perfect. Our greenhouses will grow fish, use the fish waste to fertilize vegetables grown in containers using worm compost (also derived from urban organic wastes), and the vegetables will clean the water so it can be reused by the fish again, saving precious water and other resources. We will also grow field crops (diversity is very important to our operation). With this farm, we hope to inspire and build capacity for others to start urban farms both in Toronto and further afield.

- Item 1...No hands holding soil and a germinating seed (there are other logos in our area using this image), but hands are definitely ok as a way to represent the human side of our operations
