Happen.At is a brand spanking new website and mobile app dedicated to socializing the event space. Think profiles, media uploads, check-ins, follows and community features.
Since we haven't launched yet, we can't give away too much more, but we always welcome additional questions offline.
We hope to effectively attract both of these personalities:
*Small to mid-size businesses looking for a simple way to create events, promote events, and engage more deeply with attendees.
*Event attendees/seekers of all ages, but particularly those who are 20-40 and thus more prone to socialize online, use mobile to engage with brands, and actively attend events (classic over-sharer included).
1) Must be distinct.
We're looking to standout from the typical event space competition (including Ticketmaster and Eventbrite), and appeal to those who are in the small to mid-size range who need a reliable, hip means to promote their events.
2) Must have a component that is easily transferred to an app icon on the mobile side.
Mobile is a large component of our concept and will be crucial to our launch. The logo must simplify well.
3) Must draw attention to the .At component of our name.
Since we're utilizing a non top-level domain, we must be savvy in our use of our logo to effectively market this nuance.
*All colors and themes are welcome.
*We're hoping to find a visually unique way to brand ourselves.
THIS IS THE FIRST OF MANY PROJECTS FOR US. IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE WE WILL ALSO BE SEEKING ICON DESIGN (mobile and web), WEB DESIGN (5-10 pages), AND EMAIL DESIGN.
