3rd Shore Solutions LLC is a brand new business offering software solutions and technology consulting to businesses. Need a web portal or mobile application for your business? We will build it for you. Need help deciding which software to buy or rescue a problem project? We can help. Our company was formed by two IT professionals who worked in financial services for years and wanted more from their software vendors. We decided to create our own shop, with a customer-focused culture that encourages innovation and a pragmatic, no-non-sense way of conducting business.
One of the founders was driving through the Great Lakes region and came across “Third Coast” as an expression used to describe Lake Michigan’s expansive coastline. The name clicked, and another partner suggested changing coast to shore to broaden the name’s association beyond a particular region and to encourage a new mindset as far as “onshore” or “offshore” sourcing is concerned when selecting software vendors.
We are a Massachusetts-based business.

Our target customer is a medium to large business looking for pragmatic software solutions and consulting.
We are looking for an exciting yet professional logo that represents our outlook on software (see above). It needs to be different, vibrant and deliberate. Professional does not necessarily mean boring!
This logo is needed in three variations:
1. Full logo with our brand name “3rd Shore Solutions LLC”.
2. Logo icon without the words 3rd Shore Solutions LLC. This requires a logo that can be an icon on its own, so keep that in mind when designing.
3. Expanded logo with the brand name, plus “Software | Services” in close proximity, creating one block of imagery.
We would like two sets, one with color, and another in black and white to facilitate economical printing. We’ll need high quality jpeg and raw files.
As far as color goes, we like purple, and welcome you to mix it with other colors. We are open to illustrations, icons, whatever it takes to convey the points above. Please avoid using standard corporate colors currently in rampant use, bright orange, neon green and cyan blue. We want the colors of our logo to match our personality, not what’s trendy today. Also, you can take our name in the literal sense or in the abstract, we are open to either approach, again, as long as it conveys our professional personality.
