The logo is for "The Siren Sisterhood," a world-wide underground network of Starbucks baristas featured in the forthcoming satirical novel: "The Siren Awakening: A Living Waters Mystery School." See http://www.TheSiren.org
"The Siren" is what Starbucks calls their twin-tailed mermaid logo.
In the novel, the Sisterhood is secretly taking Starbucks' mission (To inspire and nurture the human spirit one person, one cup, one neighborhood at a time) into their own hands. And they are about to go public, replacing their utilitarian green aprons (with the green/white mermaid logo) for something more "royal, cosmic, aquatic, spiritual and colorful" - a "softer classy-hippie version" of the current set up.
Imagine a long, flowy purple apron with golden trim - and at center is the Sisterhood's very colorful logo, clearly recognizable as "an evolved version" of the current Starbucks green/white logo. This painting will give you the vibe: http://josephinewall.org.uk/space.html. Obviously though it needs to work as a logo. We will be designing aprons based on the logo for photoshoots, youtube videos, flashmobs, etc.
The color scheme should be similar to what is here: http://www.TheSiren.org
You do not need to worry about legalities. We have that covered; it's satire.
We still got free-speech in the USA. ;)
