Porcupine - email protection
Porcupine team members are veterans of the Internet Industry, email architecture and ISP specialists. Although none of us have reached the our of 40s, we've been around for a while, working with massive deployments of email systems to large providers and corporations.
We've been designing, implementing and running email account systems for millions of people throughout the world.
We all love our free time and we hate wasting our precious time reading unwanted email marketing for drugmaker ads or other nonsense SPAM.
Because of that love and the realization that one single SPAMMER can cause massive amount of damage to so many people we've decided to work on the problem that wastes the time of so many. Our developers requested we note here that we truly, deeply despise SPAM.
This project provides a cloud based internet communications anti-abuse service for small business subscribers. This is primarily an email filtering service for small businesses. Our target audience are those independent small businesses who are seeking no nonsense solutions to help them manage their critical internet based business communications. Our customers are those who would seek a solution with greater value and simplicity rather than favor another product or service because it may be a popular brand.
We need a very simple logo. Something limited to 2 colors max is probably best. Something simple and solid is preferred. By "solid" I mean not many detailed lines in the artwork. I have attached two examples to this message. The first is a logo we made which is a very rough idea. https://getdata.org/~aballesteros/p…_rough.png. We are not particularly fond of this in-house design of ours. Text in the artwork itself should not be necessary. It is also not necessary to represent the actual animal as it is to represent the image of protection and defense the quills provide. The second image of a leopard attacking the porcupine should be considered an inspiration to the type of image we are looking to represent our service. https://getdata.org/~aballesteros/l…graphy.jpg. We admire the logo for Evernote http://www.evernote.com/ as their product logo is presented in various forms with and without text and simply holds up and is easily recognizable.
The logo should give one a sense of defense, repellant, trust, intelligence, strategy, bravery, simplicity, and independence.
We require that the design is delivered to us in a vector format like Adobe Illustrator and PDF in high resolution.
