Simple, clean, classic, sophisticated, appeals to all
Like the wood feel - fits the niche - made me think of a burn mark often used to brand wood products
Simple - catchy
Woodworkers can relate to the image. (might not work with younger/female customers)
Clever and incorporates visual representation.
The product screams "As seen on TV" but that is not what I want. I want classic, beautiful and refined, yet innovative and disruptive. (Think classic yet refined furniture) Some potential slogans are "Stain has advanced, why hasn't the applicator". or "Bag the Rag" The brand must catch the eye of older, conservative male woodworkers as well as the burgeoning millennial and female segments....
For years my dad and I have been making furniture together. We spend hundreds of hours designing, building, and sanding our furniture, and then, when it comes to putting the finish on, we reach for the old rag bag. This usually ends up in frustration and lots of wasted product and generally a less professional finish than we would like. We have tried bristle brushes, foam brushes and we usually come back to rags (not because they work well, but because they are the less-terrible alternative). Finally we decided to glue a loop-less cloth to a foam brush and - viola - the perfect applicator was invented. We started making this for woodworkers we know and they loved it. Now we want to bring it to the rest of the woodworking community.
I have included a picture similar to what the product looks like and how it would be used.
A lot to ask for I know - good luck and thank you!
