We have just started a small rental property company. We are looking for a creative and fun but professional looking logo for the company. The N, C and R are capitalized because they actually stand for names. It just worked out well that we could insert the vowels i and e and come up with an appropriate adjective that could describe properties. While I am a believer in spelling things as is appropriate (not mixed upper and lowercase letters), we thought this might be fun and different and something you'd remember if you saw it again.
The company is in a college town, so the target audience will be college students. However, parents are very involved and many of the existing property rental/management companies are those that have been in business for many years. It is obviously important to parents (whether it is to the students or not) that it be a reputable, professional company that would be responsive to their needs. (ex. air conditioning goes out, etc.) Hence, the need for it to look professional but be something memorable so if you see the logo again you would recognize it.
While we want something catchy, we also feel it should look professional as this will be important, too. I have seen some wonderful designs that are very eye-catching for other types of businesses which is why we wanted to use 99designs. Creative, memorable and professional looking...we think those terms might best describe what we are looking for in a logo.
We do not seem to be attracted to the ones that are very small print and mainly located in just the center. Bolder may be better and more visible or memorable. However, we want to see your ideas!!
We want it to be inviting and interesting. Colorful is okay, too. We would envision possibly (but it doesn't have to be) something with a house on it. We want it to be something you look at and think--
I'd like to do business with these people. They want their properties to feel almost like "home." We do want the name written in the upper and lowercase format: NiCeR Properties.
We are very open to your creativity and expertise. Combining creativity, inviting, and professional --this is why we decided to use 99designs!
The files need to be in Photoshop.
