Überblick

This is not a brief to help a company builds its identity. Its is not a brief for a web site, t-shirt, or blog (although it may be used in all of those places). This is a brief about an idea and a belief.

The core essence of this idea is this: through God, we should be continuously accomplishing more than we can imagine/think is humanly possible. God has called us to be serial doers of the impossible, so we should be living THE IMPOSSIBLE LIFE. We do this by developing a relationship with, reliance on, and an expectation of Him to do the impossible regardless of how difficult the situation may be. Without the relationship, reliance, or expectation we are only able to achieve what is possible within our own human power. But when God is in our life, not only does He want to do the impossible for us, but there are also no limits to His power. We see this through key scriptures:
*Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
* With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God

There are plenty of examples in the Bible of people who accomplished extraordinary feats beyond their own abilities. Moses split the red sea. Peter walked on water. Jesus fed 5,000 with two loaves of bread and five fish.

General speaking, it is the Christian audience - people who are learning how to love God and follow Christ. Christians are on a continuous journey to learn how to become more Christ-like. It is a journey based on constantly seeking revelation about how God has called them to live so that they can apply it to their life. This is why they go to church, read the Bible, spend time in prayer - they are always trying to learn what God is saying to them about how to live so they can apply it in practice.

BOUND BY SELF-RELIANCE - "If I can't do it, it can't be done."
What gets in the way then of Christians living an impossible life is that too often they are dependent on self only. They, are too self-reliant. Times get tough, they have dreams, they need/want things to happen and they look only to themselves for solutions. When things seem too impossible for them to handle within their own power, they just assume then that it cannot be done.

Anforderungen

What's the assignment: We are looking for you to give us the best way to consistently communicate 'the impossible life' in a visual way? I believe it is an icon but am open to creative solutions.

I am personally a fan of icons that allow you to build equity in symbols so that at one point you would be able to remove the name/words and people recognize the idea based on the symbol alone (target, nike, etc)

Also really interested in designs that communicate the notion of impossibility since it is core to the idea. Is it a symbol of a man walking on water? A unique illusion? Or does it leverage footprints because it can't be done without God (http://www.footprints-inthe-sand.co…m/Poem.php)?

Keep it simple.
Have fun.
Imagine it on web sites, bracelets, t-shirts, whatever is necessary to make the idea spread
Please don't use anything that would increase the cost (stock images, etc) unless you absolutely feel like it is necessary
