Cardnetics
I make novelty business cards (soon expanding to greeting cards) that I sell through my website http://cardnetics.com
I've been selling these cards for about a year, and I've used a couple different logos that I threw together myself, but would like to get something better before I start selling my next design.
My current products launch projectiles, but not all of my future cards will so avoid using that as a logo theme.
People who like fun, unique, and unconventional products.
"Cardnetics" is one word. It doesn't matter to me if the "Card" part is styled slightly different than the "netics", but it should be clear that it is one word.
Feel free to use your own judgment with colors. It doesn't need to fit into my current website design.
Ideally the logo would also look good in a single color and be simple enough to be made into a stamp. Something that wouldn't be out of place on the back of a greeting card, but that is not an absolute requirement. In general I am a fan of simple and clear.
Do not use gears as part of the logo
Update (also posted in comments):
If your design uses a card as part of the logo I would prefer that it be a flat card like a business card and not a traditional folding greeting card. Although I am expanding into greeting cards they will not be that style and my primary business right now is business cards. Also it would be preferred that the card(s) have a 7:4 aspect ratio to match the 3.5"x2" business card that is typical in the US. A card is NOT required to be in the design, but it just happens that my favorites so far have included cards.
I'm not a big fan of gradients and glossy effects. Unless you feel like those things are essential to your design it would probably be better to leave them out.
