The Vibe
The Vibe is a new project from Creative Care Services.
Creative Care Services Ltd is a small company which provides support in the community to adults with learning disabilities in south east England. CCS has been established since 1999 and has a good reputation for being innovative and professional.
We work mostly on a one-to-one basis with our clients and work hard on matching the right Support Worker to the right person. Our clients are all individual people with their own wants, needs and goals, no matter how severe their disability.
We are happy with the CCS current logo (attached) and use the green and purple colour scheme on our literature. (Please note we have a website but it is home-made and due for renewal, it does not reflect the visual style of our current marketing literature).
Services aimed at adults with learning disabilities need to get a message across in a simple way, but we do not believe this has to be in an immature way eg, using rainbows, and happy faces! Our services are definitely for adults.
Although are clients are all adults with a learning disability, our target audience includes their parents, social workers, and carers.
They need to see our literature and think this looks too good to miss out on.
We want to appear modern and cool, but mature enough to care for vulnerable people.
CCS is about to set up a new project called The Vibe. The Vibe is going to be an ICT suite and multimedia activity studio for use by adults with learning disabilities and their carers.
We are looking for a logo for The Vibe that can be displayed on the outside of the building, as well as on marketing brochures etc.
The Vibe is part of a project called Get Connected which aims to increase access to ICT for people involved in social care. It will not run formal courses, and is not a college. It will instead offer sessions such as digital photography, music recording, film research, video editing etc, for people. These sessions are not set to a curriculum, and are meant to be inspiring, fun, and challenging, but definitely not “childish”.
We would like The Vibe logo to be complementary to the Creative Care logo as it is a separate project, but not a separate company. Perhaps keeping the dark purple and green could be a way to do this. It should not be highly detailed, or very techy, the idea is to get across: “this project is innovative and more interesting than sitting in a day-centre on a bean-bag all day, but don’t be intimidated, it is for you”.
