Reader's Digest is a very well known and successful global publisher and marketer of magazines, books, music, DVDs and other merchandise. Our marketing strength is supported by Sweepstakes and this is forefront in our promotions. We are currently developing our on line business and two projects in transistion are the Australian, New Zealand and South African website platforms and on-line stores. Logo is for existing customers (older 45 years+ male and female) and new customers who arrive at store mainly through Search, Shopping Engines and Affiliates. Anticipate new customers to be both male and female 30 years+.
As stated above, we are revamping our on-line stores http://www.myshoptoday.com.au, http://www.myshoptoday.co.nz and launching http://www.myshoptoday.co.za. My Shop Today is the official on-line store for Reader's Digest and it's other brands, HealthSmart and Handyman. The unique proposition we will market on our store will be the chance to participate in our hugely successful Sweepstakes, where visitors can win substantial cash prizes. We wish to have two options. The first will be My Shop Today and carry the tag line Buy Today, Win Today, and the second will be My Shop Today and carry the tag line Win Cartloads of Cash. Ideally the logo will contain an image (such as a cart) that can be adapted for seasonality such as Christmas and themed sales. To support the two options we will require a colour palette with both appropriate RGB colours (for onscreen viewing) and PMS/Pantone colours with CMYK breakdown (for print). The file should be created using Illustrator (as first option) or Photoshop 300dpi (as second option). The design should not exceed 3 colours and black & white plus grey options should also be provided. A mockup of the logo on an online store header will have an advantage.
