Queue, a service offering of SHP Leading Design (http://www.shp.com), is a stakeholder engagement process that seeks to incorporate the voice of the customer into the planning and design of the built environment serving the education, corporate, commercial, healthcare and civic markets. Using both qualitative and quantitative research, our collaborative approach embraces client involvement throughout the entire project spectrum, encourages participation and builds consensus. Our process ensures a new or renovated building as unique as the stakeholders it serves.
Originally named The Schoolhouse of Quality (SOQ), the process began over 20 years ago as a comprehensive community engagement process to identify and integrate community values into the planning and design of educational facilities. In fact, SHP is recognized as one of the first architectural firms in the country to incorporate community input into our designs. As our client-base has diversified we’ve adapted the process to serve additional markets.
The goal is to create a logo that embodies both the personality and objective of the over-arching SHP Leading Design brand and Queue logo should be able to complement the SHP logo or be branded as a service of SHP where appropriate.
Ideally, we’d love to have an iconic logo that builds upon the successful history of the SOQ brand by highlighting the iconic Q which was the inspiration for the new name Queue.
We’d prefer the use of some type of avatar or icon that we could use as a watermark. For example, the logo could be used with or without the full name; Q as a shortened play on the full Queue name.
The target audience includes current and future clients in the markets of education, corporate, commercial, healthcare and civic architecture.
Attached are previous versions of the logo as well as our current corporate logo we would like to complement.
