The PEMCRC, a subcommittee of the American Academy of Pediatrics, is a US and Canada research network of pediatric emergency departments. We conduct large clinical research studies in over 30 hospitals. We need a simple logo that we could use for our scientific publications and presentations and for our website (pemcrc.org). We would like the logo to be simple and look good in both black and white and in color.
PEMCRC (Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Rsearch Committee)
The PEMCRC conducts PEDIATRIC scientific research studies that have to do with EMERGENCIES. The logo should be simple and contain the letters PEMCRC, and have a design that suggests children and emergencies, but also scientific rigor and professionalism. The design should not be too severe or too serious though, we want it to reflect humanism, compassion, caring. You may look around at children's hospitals websites for inspiration. A nice example is the children's hospital of new york logo (http://childrensnyp.org/mschony/) which has the name of the hospital in clear serious font but a nice simple flower to lighten it up and make it recognizable. The design could be but does not have to be a flower, it could be another thing that reminds you of children.
- it must contain the letters: PEMCRC
- it should also say: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Research Committee (if the design becomes too heavy or too lengthy we can consider dropping this)
- As explained above, it should contain an element that softens the design, reminds you of children and of positive humanistic values
- Should look good in both black and white and color (do not use more than 2 or 3 colors)
No teddy bear with a band aid!
No ambulance, no syringe
No complicated or weird font
No futuristic elements
