More than Meat is a range of meat substitute products (based on Vital Wheat Gluten, also known as: Seitan or Mock Duck) that are being developed and launched in the UK.
There will be a range of ready meals for retail consumers as well as products targeted at caterers. In the US - a similar product is "Beyond Meat" and UK competitors would be Quorn or Frys. My company is called Plantalicious Limited (see http://www.plantalicious.com) and "More than Meat" will be a food range from Plantalicious.
The logo needs to provide me with the following: An ability to build an aggressive marketing campaign which targets meat-reducers, flextarians, vegetarians and vegans.
The logo should be "cool" and appeal to a wide but young demographic as the products is about health, and the environment - The More than Meat range is nutritious and satisfying alternative to meat, that promotes health and well-being. It has no added fats, zero cholesterol, no trans-fats, no saturated fats, is low in calories, extremely high in protein, tasty and is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and meat reducers. It is easy and convenient to use and can be served hot or cold and can be frozen.
Unlike other meat alternatives such as Quorn and Beyond Meat (A US product) it contains no chemicals nor is it highly processed. Add to this - It taste great too!
The logo should also include the name "More than Meat" but to get trade mark approval the UK Trade Mark Office have said that the text and logo should be immediately identifiable as unique - so that there can be no confusion about the phrase "more than meat". ie - Think - McDonalds - the name in itself means nothing, unless combined with the iconic Golden Arches.
