We (Wheatmark, Inc.) are small company providing publishing services to independent authors and entrepreneurs. We launched "Authors Academy" a year ago providing expert publishing and marketing information to our clients, mostly as teleseminars and webinars. This coming year we want to relaunch it as a separate and paid membership site and want a professional logo for it.
The Authors Academy teaches authors how to write, produce, and market their books successfully–even if they’ve never written or produced a book or marketed a product before. The tagline is Authors Academy--Sell More Books.

The audience for the Authors Academy are writers, authors, and entrepreneurs who want to learn how to write, produce, and market their books successfully. They may be professionals or just starting out.
The logo should look good on a white background.
It should communicate "academy," i.e., a place to learn and succeed. The Academy will have "faculty" and "courses," therefore an academic/schoolish-looking logo is OK, though not necessary.
No stock cliparts.
The words "Authors Academy" should be a part of the logo. The tagline "Sell More Books" should not, but the logo design should not clash with the message of "sell more books."
Files needed: Adobe Illustrator (AI) vector file for print and Layered Adobe Photoshop file (PSD) for web.
