To design a brand (logo plus message) that captures the ideas outlined below that describe The Heal Community Clinic. a non-for-profit community project operating in East Melbourne providing holistic and alternative health care for people touched by homelessness and marginalization.
The brand needs to be robust (not effeminate, as so many alternative health designs can be), conveying values of potential and individual worth, opportunity, and the possibility for change no matter how challenging an individual's situation may be. The logo itself should take as its starting point the `hands' symbol attached, although it would be good to develop this further again, staying away from the effeminate and limiting picture of, for example, massage hands on a body. The brand as a whole should be designed to attract the client, the potential volunteer, and the potential donor.
The HEAL COMMUNITY CLINIC: MISSION STATEMENT
To provide excellent, long-term, holistic and restorative health care for people experiencing homelessness, the risk of homelessness and marginalization.
Currently, this is `Together we're changing.' - i.e. the clients are changing, the staff are changing, a community is changing - and you can be part of that change too. Another variation of this is `Making change possible.' Submissions may choose to substitute these messages for a better fit as they feel appropriate.

The Heal Clinic is a multi-therapeutic health care facility offering high-quality, long-term health care for people impacted by homelessness and/ or marginalization. It provides an opportunity for healing and restoration through which clients can reclaim their dignity and self-worth and be empowered to deal with the extraordinary circumstances with which they are faced.
