The Center to Abolish Human Trafficking focuses aims to recruit, educate, and mobilize an international grassroots social movement. Effectively and efficiently our grassroots activists of all languages, careers, and socioeconomic class will aim to combat human trafficking and slavery.
As the late great Howard Zinn commented:
"We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people,
can transform the world."
We have joined 99 design to engage the minds of the creative. Please do that for us. What we want is creativity and not to limit the minds of ant artist.
Only I can say that the victims of human trafficking need the chains of slavery broken. Once the chains are broken victims see the elements of life differently. As many of us have experienced the feeling of traveling freely and say seeing the vast landscapes of mountains or parks, unlike trafficking victims who never see anything of beauty.
Many victims are physically and mentally coerced and abused for years. Held in virtual captivity most of their young life that many of them for years only see the brothels they work inside, or the strip clubs and hotels of where their pimps place them that life itself ceases to exist.
My organization, CAHT, wants to see that once victims are free that they receive holistic healing process and that life turns into light and eventually leaving the darkness behind.
