V2 Helicopters (V=Velocity 2=squared, 2 should be small subscript))
We are setting up a new helicopter company. We feel that there are many helicopter companies that have this old fashioned and dated outlook. We want to help bring the industry up-to-date and into the 21st century. We are looking for a new and exciting logo that gives people that idea of PROFESSIONALISM, ON THE GO, CARING, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, EXCITING.
As a company we will be absolutely focused on safety and doing things RIGHT. We as professional pilots are dedicated to ensuring compliance with and exceeding all SAFETY required by government organisations/agencies.

Target audience is male and female age between 15 and 50, with the main target being an age group between 19 and 40.
We initially want to target people wanting to learn how to fly helicopters and become a professional commercial helicopter pilot.
We also want to target people that can utilise helicopters for their business/company/organisation i.e. fire fighting, executive travel, under-slung operations, power line operations, filming, photography etc.
V2 (should be a small 2 subscript) means VELOCITY SQUARED and forms part of the LIFT equation. It means speed, so if speed can be portrayed in the logo design then all the better. Keep it simple, this logo will be on helicopters, signs, letterheads, business cards, motor vehicles, so needs to be easily reproduced.
The logo must include:
2 or a SQUARE
The logo needs to be of CONTEMPORARY design.
You must try to portray the following:
PROFESSIONALISM (font design)
ON THE GO (but not in a rushing sense)
CARING (sometimes rounded corners are better than sharp corners)
SMALL TO MEDIUM COMPANY (that personal touch)
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY (choose the right colours)
ON THE UP AND UP (be wary of angles)
SPEED (V squared means speed and direction)
A HELICOPTER OR PART OF A HELICOPTER MAY FORM PART OF THE LOGO.
