LifeWay church is a network church of LifeChurch.tv - a 30,000 member global church with a huge on-line presence. We are looking to establish our own logo for LifeWay Church that, while similar to our parent church, has its own identity and edge. We are a dynamic, young, fast growing church that serves a broad range of people, but our primary focus is on the younger adults (ages 15-40). Our name is a result of two church names put together....LifeChurch (lifechurch.tv) and Gateway Church (gatewaypeople.com) = LifeWay Church. Our logo will be on our signs, banners, website, clothing, hats, pens, bumper sticker...everywhere we can put it! Please help!
Being a church, our target audience is very broad and general. We are simply looking to identify a logo that is simple to identify and that we can achieve brand name recognition around. Our primary target is young adults ages 15-40. We want the logo to be simple and easily identifiable and recognizable...simple, but with an edge. As noted above, we want it to be similar to our parent church logo and we have created a simple one thus far, but we feel that it is lacking some punch and uniqueness. Our logo will be on letterhead, website, facebook, hats, clothing, bumper stickers, banners, signs...everywhere we can put it! We favor the red and white color and would like to use the LW or LWC initials.
I will attach a logo that we are currently using along with the logo of our parent church - LifeChurch. We are looking to make our (LifeWay) current logo a bit "edgier". We like the t.v. (tube) shape background but are open to new ideas. We want red and white coloring and want to use the LW or LWC initials. Keep it simple and easily recognizable.
Under our logo - we would like to have the phrase "a part of the LifeChurch.tv Network" included. We currently have "a network church of LifeChurch.tv" - but that needs to be changed to "a part of the LifeChurch.tv Network".
We like the all caps lettering, but would be open to new ideas.
If we could incorporate a Christian cross into the logo, that would be neat but not necessary.
