Julia's Party needs a fun Harry Potterish logo

We have edited our design brief - our intial one may have been too restrictive and we want to tap into your creativity and imagination!  Please read belowL

This logo is for a bat mitzvah party (for a 13 year old girl).  There are two main things to think about:  first, she is a huge Harry Potter fan, so we'd like to design her a logo that's fun and whimsical nod to Harry Potter, Hogwarts, etc., and (2) she has worn mismatching socks for her whole life - in crazy patterns and bright colors.  One with yellow stars, the other with black and turquiose stripes or dots or faces, etc.  

She has a few favorite hobbies that should be incorporated, too:  movie-making, books, field hockey and softball, and music (music in general, and she plays piano). 

For the socks - look for little miss matched socks on line - and loves their colors and patterns.  We'd love to work that in to her logo somehow, too. (see littlemissmatched.com for ideas). Nothing too overall girlie or flowery. 

The logo will be printed on boys and girls clothing - probably tshirts, sweatshirts or sports jerseys.

Some of our initial ideas, but please feel free to come up with your own:  (1) use the Hogwarts crest - with a hobby in each quadrant.  (2) Use a crest-shaped background, use patterns only in the four quadrants.  The main design on the crest is her initials with hobbies incorporated (e.g. softball to dot the J, field hockey stick shaped J, sock shaped J, film reel for ribbon under the crest with party date, lightning bolt somewhere, piano in the letters, etc. etc.) (3) No crest, just initials, lightning bolt somewhere.  Other ideas welcome!!!  

I sketched some out with the sharpies I had laying around - I'm no artist, and the colors aren't ideal, but take a look at the images below!  Feel free to NOT use them if you have other inspiration!

And think also about how the image will look in just one or two colors - we are looking into keeping expenses reasonable for printing on shirts...

Yes! While using the Hogwarts crest has been our initial idea/concept, we are open to other ways to represent Julia and her hobbies and interests. The party will have nods to/riffs on Harry Potter, without being a totally Harry-Potter-themed bat mitzvah. We're trying to be subtle, without turning everything into the world of Hogwarts. We thought a crest with her hobbies and interests could be fun - but other inspiration is welcome! Thanks!
