How do you keep up with what's going on?
Blogs, Twitter, and Facebook have forever changed what we consider to be "news" and who we see as news sources. The days of the nightly news and Walter Cronkite have given way to RSS, tweets, check-ins, and viral videos.
The internet generation is inundated with so much information that we can't possibly keep up. The result... We know more about what's going on with our "friends" than in any time in history but we feel more disconnected from the broader world around us.
We have solved this problem.
ChatterMundo is the easist way to keep up with breaking news from today's most popular news sources. Our system processes thousands of news articles and blog posts every minute so we can bring you the hottest trends and topics as they occur. If you want to know what's going on right now, make ChatterMundo your first stop.
During this design contest, we have opened up a Sneak Peek of our technology so you can see the site and get a feel for what we do and the value we provide. Please note that this is a site that is still very much unfinished so you will likely experience errors, incomplete data, etc.
We normally would not let non-employees see the technology at this early stage but we believe you'll need to see it in action to get a better feel for what we do. You can see the sneak peek at: http://chattermundo.com/sneak
We want to attract: News reading internet savvy consumers of all ages, incomes, and walks of life because we want to reinvigorate the news industry.
Traditional data says our target audience would be:
* More male than female
* Age 25 - 45
* College educated
* Most likely to read from Work or from mobile devices
Innovative, fresh and warm feel. Professional but not "too serious". No color requirements, no boundaries just have fun!
Would like to have a small logo that can be put on web buttons (like the "t" for twitter, or the little RSS logo) as well as a larger representation of the full name "ChatterMundo".
