ImprovisationNews.com is filled with news, reviews and interviews all about the world of improv. Our site re-launch will incorporate social networking modules that will make us a sort of "Facebook" for the niche improv community.
Our audience is improvisers and their fans from around the world; however, most of our readers are clustered in NYC, Chicago and LA. Readers tend to be fun, edgy, artistic, quirky, but professional.
Readers tend to be 18-35.
We're looking for a quick turn around time on the logo design as the web design is already underway; so the early bird may just get the worm in this case.
A mock-up of the website we're launching can be found at: http://www.bitcart.net/in.com/
The logo re-design must include the same / similar color palette as the attached existing logo (greens, yellows, greys) and the abbreviation "IN" must be called out in some way as it is a theme throughout the site.
I'd be curious to see a design with two of the keys from one of those 1920s typewriters as they hit the paper with an "I and an N" on them.
Or, maybe something that captures the idea of bringing a community together (the world of improv), communication, the world (as in world news), etc.
Or entering a new world as captured by the door in the current logo?
Playing with the word "pro" in Improvisation is another call possible call out...
