We are a startup company in stealth mode that is revolutionizing email. Email has been around since the dawn of the Internet, but its basic design has not fundamentally changed. We are launching a new approach to email that preserves the good characteristics of Email while adding revolutionary new capabilities to Email.
While TMail is applicable to both businesses and individuals, the sweet
spot for TMail is users within businesses and organizations. In that sense its core target audience is similar to Google Apps for Businesses.
We are looking for a logo for "TMail21.com".
The word "TMail" is meant to be both a noun (Send me a TMail) and a verb (Please TMail me).
For this reason it probably makes sense for the "TMail" part and the
"21" part of "TMail21.com" to be visually distinct from each other. It
probably makes sense for the ".com" part to be de-emphasized
relative to "TMail21".
Ideally, the logo should also have a VISUAL ICON to
simultaneously evoke the idea of Email while at the
same time suggest distinctiveness from Email.
Some ways to achieve this
1) EMail addresses use the "@" symbol. For example email@example.com,
whereas TMail addresses use the "$" symbol. For example joe$acme.com. (Note: the "$" does NOT represent money).
2) TMails can have a tracking number (like a UPS or Fedex package).
Obviously, EMails do not.
3) The attachment ("TMail Logo.png") shows one idea of how TMails can be visually depicted.
If a "meaningful" icon cannot be envisioned, then some abstract icon
representing a TMail will be acceptable.
If neither a meaningful nor an abstract icon can be envisioned, then
just focus on the text, viz. "tmail21.com".
The design should be bold, creative and memorable (Maybe Web 2.0 like). However, given the core audience of individuals within businesses should not be overly cute.
