Legal Clerking & Process Serving, Inc.
I am combining my current business named Lawyers' Legs, Inc. and my business partner's business which is called Paralegal Services. Combined, my partner and I have almost 37 years experience in the industry (25 him, 12 me).
Lawyers' Legs is a clerking service that is catered toward the busy attorney. They do not have time to travel to downtown Chicago, pay for parking and wait in a line in a busy City office where they have no idea what they're doing! The "best" part is these attorneys are dealing with people that are not the most helpful. The reason why my company exists in the first place.
Paralegal Services, Inc. is a service that processes court filings for attorneys, as well as, serves papers to people that need to appear in court. It's basically going around to people, delivering docs and saying "you've been served". He also does background checks and completes searches for people that don't want to be found, called skip tracing.
Legal Clerking and Process Serving, Inc. (LCPS) will be a combination of the two businesses.
Audience is Chicagoland Lawyers or professionals that may need some sort of legal clerking or process serving.
I want something that will catch attorneys' eyes.
Clients love our current logo, and I would like it to almost be a takeoff of that. You can find an example of my Lawyers Legs logo here http://www.lawyerslegs.com.
To be honest, I've never been in love with it. I think it's a little too stiff and always wanted it to be a little flashier. On the flipside, it does get the point across (attorney/paralegal with a briefcase, scales of justice, and his tie flapping in the wind). When an attorney sees it, they think paralegal or clerk, I feel.
I'd like this new logo to be the same basic concept, but more finished. The three aspects of the Lawyers' Legs logo must be incorporated (Briefcase/doc, scales and tie). Maybe the man to be a little more animated. Maybe crouched down as if in a runner's stance, or, in more of a natural running motion. Give him the effect that he's FAST and CONFIDENT!
I have uploaded a couple of Superman images that I googled. He's either running or flying. Either way, it leaves you with the impression that he's fast and confident, something we would like our clients to take away from the logo. As you see in all the pics, you can easily incorporate a folder/document/briefcase in one hand and scales of justice in the other.
You can also play around with the letters of LCPS somehow and either incorporate that into the logo, or, perhaps just by itself.
