A great logo for a starting real estate animation business

I am the owner of a web development agency base in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This project is my first on 99designs. If it goes well I will have more project in the pipeline. Regarding this project:
My client is an architect starting a new business in reaction to the ongoing recession in the real estate market. He will help people make a better and easier sale of their house by creating 3d animations of their home in the current and reconstructed state. With these animations real estate brokers will be able to make a better and easier sale.

House owners who are planning to sell their house from a 1 million euro and up.

The logo will be foremost used on his website which is still under construction but it will have to fit the style.

The site is based on a template of themeforest and colors can be changed if needed.

The client likes icon based logo's the most only I am not sure that this is the best way to go. possibly a combination of text and an icon can be made. I stumbled on the following images which I found relevant.

What the client does not like are cartoony based logo's.

The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
