We are a brand new London (UK) based creative digital agency currently with one exceptionally hot social gaming client and we are looking to design our corporate logo for use on our website that is yet to be built.
We have no in-house designer at the moment and if the project is commissioned we would want to build a relationship for future work, particularily for mobile oriented illustrations for use on our home page.
We are a digital marketing agency intending to specialise in consultancy and professional services such as business development and application development, primarily in the mobile space.
Therefore, carriers, brand owners, entertainment companies, start-ups and developers are our target market.
Company name background. There wasn’t a great logic to how we came to using this name other than wanting our own .com url and wanted to be as neutral as possible rather than linked to any format and, of course, to have some stand-out.
The South Odessa end choice was because Odessa is equally an exotic city which most people can’t place on the map and could be one of those small mid-west towns in the U.S. with names like East Moscow or Northern Jericho.
We might junk it if it’s holding us back, but so far it seems to be working fine and raises a few eye-brows and giggles, which is good enough for us…
• Web 2.0
We will use this on our corporate B2B site which we expect a small amount of potential business contacts will view briefly.
Our website is likely to be white/clean background and uncluttered. We intend to have a central image starting with an image of a set of housing estate tower blocks (i.e. housing project) which will be replaced with illustrations of abstract images incorporating mobile imagery we are about to commission.
We would like a clean and dynamic brand with stand-out and which fits in with the imagery described above.
Ideas incorporating or with a separated icon would be welcomed. We would prefer to stay agnostic, but if you have a clever treatment then we favour a mobile association.
What we like
Steakdigital.co.uk We like what the guys have done here. We in no way want to copy their imagery, but we like the stand-out factor as there are so many companies competing in this space who have incorporated generic names into their company logo and proposition.
Grapplemobile We’ve just eaten our words here, but we like how this site is laid out and the company operates in a similar space to where we would like to be. The icon is nice and subtle as well.
We would like the final winning design to be available in a format such as EPS so that it is scalable and can be used by us in different mediums including business cards.
