Jar.ie is a website for finding bars & pubs in Ireland, where you can also rate and review each bar & pub.
Irish and international tourists looking for good bars would be an important target audience.
Age group would primarily be 25-45.

The slogan is optional. In fact it is just to be incorporated within the logo if you feel you think you can do it very well.

Go to http://www.jar.ie to see the current logo and get a feel for the website. It's important that the logo works well on facebook, twitter, instagram etc.

The important thing for us is finesse. We want a logo that's well designed and something we are truly happy with. Happy to have crazy ideas thrown at us. Looking for things that are not a copy or tweak of our design.

Nothing related to beer, alcohol or Ireland. We want something that's modern and cool, not clichéd. The logo should be distinctive and practical for the places it will appear - website, social media, mobile app.

A jar is the key element. It needs to show imagination, be identifiable and the focus of the logo. It's our name and brand so the logo has to relate to a jar but try to incorporate something related to what we do if possible. This is where subtlety and imagination is important.
