Wie Curt Buermeyer das erste logo design Abenteuer antrat
Wofür sind Sie bekannt?
Was ist Ihr Firmenslogan?
Get On It (This slogan may be left off. I'm not sure I love it.)
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Progress St. delivers Progress as a Service; in many ways, it's like LifeHacker.com, but adding assessments and coaching services, with support groups. The focus is on self improvement, but with a lot of support. The target audience is self-help book readers and podcast listeners, and people surfing the net for tips and tricks.
In welcher Branche, denken Sie, ist Ihr Unternehmen am ehesten zu Hause?
Welche Farben wollen Sie in Ihrem Design sehen?
I'm picking blues and greens, because street signs are often green, against a blue sky background, but it really doesn't matter.

Designs zur Inspiration
It looks like it would be appealing on a t-shirt. I hope to make some additional revenue on ProgressSt.com by selling some merch.
I like that you can read this from a distance. I'm not sure what graphic, like this bird, would fit the theme of progress.
This looks good for social media.
I don't like the big E, but the rest looks clean.
I like the retro look, since progress is a timeless concept. Even though progress is about looking forward, I don't want it to be futuristic -- just future focused in a classy way.
I like the font. Instead of a hand, I'm not sure what would go there to fit the theme of progress.
I like the retro look, since progress is a timeless concept (like the Online Fabriek one above).
I like how clean this is. I also like that there's a nest motif in the simple graphic.
I like the simplicity of this, but wonder if it might be too limiting. Would the wolf icon always have to go with the wolf text?
I like the font, with a simple but interesting graphic above.
I created a basic logo in PowerPoint and loaded it onto my beta site (ProgressSt.com). I liked what I created originally, since it was modeled after the street sign in Blacksburg, VA. But now, I need something that looks like a "real brand." I'm planning to sell t-shirts with the logo too, so it needs to be very attractive and professional, so the average person would want to buy and wear a shirt with the logo.
It would also be nice if the logo conveyed forward motion. I'll attach a logo draft I made on the Custom Ink website for t-shirt designs. I'm pretty open-minded to what the winning design should look like. It matters most to me that it looks positive, optimistic, future-focused (but not futuristic), since the logo needs to help inspire progress in achieving life goals.
