I appreciate all of your time and effort that all of you spent on your submissions so far. Many of them are very good and appeal to me visually and if its primary purpose was for a business card or front of a store, most of these would be great.
What I've realized after receiving the submissions I have so far and contemplating them is that I'm really looking for something with more uniqueness that will stand out a little more a and will be both visually appealing, professional, but still also bold and creative.
Where people will primarily be seeing this logo will be on real estate signs that will be in the yard of my properties. So most of my target audience will only get a brief passing glance at it while driving by it in their car.
So I only have a few seconds in many cases to make that visual first impression and to imprint my logo in their memories for brand recognition.
It may be my fault for not providing clear enough direction from the beginning but I've come to realize that most of the concepts submitted so far don't stand out enough from the competition's generic logos or leave enough of a lasting impression, in my opinion.
It can be a fine line between bold and weird/too over the top. I would greatly appreciate some designs with a bit more boldness, uniqueness, and creativity - while still trying to maintain a modern professional appearance.
I want to stand out and make a real visual impact. My company strives every single day to be the best in our industry, without fail or any excuses. I want my logo to represent this as well.
Thank you all again for your submissions so far. Several of you really aren't that far off. But my initial concept phase is almost done and I'd really like to see what everyone can come up with in these last few hours with this additional direction.

We are real estate investors and developers. We buy under valued or under-utilized residential homes and land - and renovate, restore, or rebuild them. Though we would like the logo to look professional, as it will be going on signs and other misc marketing materials - our primary goal for the company’s name (and this logo) is to target motivated sellers who are in a distressed property or life situation and need our help to get them out of the problem. Our target market/demographic covers a wide range of people that have varying levels of income and socio-economic backgrounds - however, one of the larger segments of our target market is often lower income individuals or people going through a difficult season in their life. Hence our company name - Move Forward Solutions. Our goal is to help them move forward with their life while alleviating any stress or pain that us buying their house quickly and reasonably could help. Our market research has indicated that many of these people do not respond as favorably to something that appears “too slick” or too pretentious. So finding the right balance between professional, creative, and modern - while still maintaining an element of simple and not looking like some huge corporate machine that exists to take advantage of them (we are the opposite) is key.
