Mundie Investment Group
city living reimagined
We manage rental homes in the deep South with a target audience of young professionals and young to middle-age families. Our properties are primarily single-family houses that are historic in nature: craftsman and arts & crafts bungalows, tudors, victorians, cottages, mid-century ranches. (A quick google search should return images of these historic home types for your reference.)
We're committed to returning part of our profits to the communities we service, so we hope to draw people invested in patronizing local businesses. Think artists, artisans, musicians, foodies, local shop owners, etc.
We are focusing on up-and-coming urban-historic neighborhoods with a lot of grit, taking forgotten homes and restoring their original charm. Our clients will most likely value outdoor activities like gardening, running, cycling, hiking, and exploring.
black & white/cream/off white/etc preferred, but open to incorporating some other colors with that foundation. *avoid yellow-looking whites and creams*
We DON'T WANT:
-something that feels corporate or too formal
-to include any of the text from the brief, other than the company name, slogan, year established, and location
We DO WANT:
Mundie Investment Group
city living reimagined
Established 2016
Birmingham, AL
We want a logo with a stylish graphic (vintage inspired, possibly with a modern/industrial spin--think of an image an old wooden-handled stamp would impose) that speaks to historic homes or urban lifestyle--like a craftsman style window (3-4 vertical panes on top with a single pane on the bottom), a window flower box, an old bicycle, garden elements, rain boots, etc.
We're really big fans of vintage-modern-industrial graphics and fonts, neutral color palettes, etc. We are targeting clients who desire historic city/urban living and a love for all things local, and our focus is on Southern historic neighborhoods in revitalizing, mid-sized Birmingham, AL.
