Satellite Marketing Systems
After seeing some of the amazing work done on 99 Designs, I am excited to list my project and see what talent, creativity and hard work will do for my design!
Satellite Marketing Systems (SMS), is a new business about to be launched to the owners of hairdressing salons. We build relationships between salons and their customers through providing regular, personalized and relevant messages and promotions via our customer relationship management system.
We also provide the customers of salons with free products and services that are provided by our non-competing, joint venture partners such as jewelers, restaurants, florists, etc.
In a way, SMS, joint venture partners and salons all act like satellites “orbiting” around each individual customer to provide them with multiple “streams” of value.
The primary target for SMS is hairdressing salon owners although in the future this will broaden to include business owners from other industries.
The secondary target will be joint venture partners who will not be hairdressing salons.
The following tag lines should be included with the logo somewhere as they are an essential element of the logo. As there are TWO target audiences, there are TWO tag lines but the only change in the logo should be with the wording!
For the primary target market:
MORE customers, MORE often & spending MORE with your salon!
And for the secondary target market:
Qualified customers, delivered to your business, controlled by YOU!
SMS needs a professional yet friendly identity. I would like to include the key themes or ideas of the “satellite” and the “facilitator” and “partnership” roles that SMS plays.
The main focus of this competition is the logo design but if you could also show it in on business card (rounded edges), and A4 letter design you will definitely get extra points!
Feel free to think outside the square and use designs, patterns, textures, layers, cutouts etc that you think would look great. Obviously, the logo does need to be printed so needs to look good on paper and when printed in black.
As far as colors, I like strong, metallic colors and my favorite is blue, however, I also like green and orange but I’m open to other combinations that you think work well together.
The logo will be used primarily on printed material (marketing collateral), but it would be a bonus if you could also optimize it for use on a Website, blog, social media and e-mail messages etc. I also need the final logo to be supplied in a variety of formats that enable manipulation/re-sizing/re-saving etc of the logo which I’m sure you will all know plenty about!
The successful designer will also be requested to do further creative work as I need brochures to be designed along with other marketing collateral.
Thank you all greatly for your designs and I promise to reply to questions promptly!
